The history of the Camino Real Corporation begins in 1959, with the opening of The Westin Camino Real.

From there, we positioned ourselves in the national hotel market thanks to our Deep knowledge in hospitality and focusing on values such as customer satisfaction. After 30 years, Del Patio Hotel was born, followed by Camino Real Tikal Hotel two years later. By then, we already had extensive experience in serving hundreds of guests daily. This helped us continue to grow until we became the largest hotel corporation in Guatemala. By 1997, our family grew with the Holiday Inn Hotel and by 2010 with Camino Real Antigua Hotel.

We currently have three international franchises that are world-renowned: The Westin Camino Real Guatemala, Holiday Inn Guatemala and Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza. At a national level, we are made up of four prestigious brands: Biltmore Hotel, Camino Real Antigua Hotel, Camino Real Tikal Hotel and Del Patio Hotel.

Our hotels offer a variety of experiences in the classic and contemporary fusion of the capital, the cradle of Mayan civilization in Petén and Antigua Guatemala, the mecca of colonial architecture. It is worth noting that we have the first International Convention Center for more than 3,000 people in the capital city.

We invite you to live the experience of the largest and most experienced Corporation in Guatemala.
